So I've had my used van for 2 1/2 years, and thought I was pretty lucky that she hadn't seemed to have 'too many' issues in that time. Still, I knew something had been up, and just didn't have the funds to take care of it. Unfortunately, I did notice something recently that had me worried enough to take it into a shop. For some reason, my usual place no longer exists (YIKES!), and so I went with the highest rated shop in the area. Yep, that'd be Silverlake Automotive. Sadly for me autoshops aren't open on the weekends, meaning that I was without my car for five days total.. Still, I've got to say these are the friendliest guys in an auto-shop that I've EVER met. Seriously, I wish I would have used them sooner!$3250 later (yes, that many repairs, and of course labor was a chunk of that), my car was ready. But it wasn't, because suddenly the check engine light was on. They checked that issue, fixed it, but... oh.. that look on Steve's face. I just knew that there was something else wrong. So back in the following morning (this morning, as I just got home) to get the yet another issue fixed. My van practically purrs now, which for that price it darn well better all things considered. Hah!All around, I am very pleased with the quality of work as well as the friendliness of the staff that I've encountered. :) You wont find another shop in the Coeur D' Alene area as fantastic as Silverlake Automotive.
