I was visiting Coeur d'Alene from Canada with my family. Our car wouldn't start and the generator light was on. It was a Friday and we had to get back home later that weekend. Within an hour of arriving at Silverlake Auto they had me back on the road. They released I was stuck and rather than take advantage of my situation, they helped me out as quickly, professionally and economically as you could have wished for. I could see they were fully booked that day and rather than saying they couldn't fit me in - they help us out. Thank you very much and we made it home without a glitch.

I can not say enough about this shop... Once again took my car there...while there once again the customer service was GREAT. I have to say also that this place saved me tons of money...I let myself be talked into an extended warranty. Fred took a look at it and informed me it was not worth the coat...therefore saving me money. This is in my opinion is the best automotive shop. And just a call with a quick question...10 minutes later they adjusted my computer and put my windshield wipers on. This is my favorite and trusted automotive shop in CDA.

I took my car in for a 90,000 mile warranty check after I was told by the dealer that it would be over $500. Silverlake Auto was way cheaper and a lot more honest. Very good customer service. I went with my guard up preparing to be told how much my car needs and instead I was told that my car most likely won't need that for a while. Stupid dealer lol.

Silverlake Automotive did a fantastic job of getting my son’s car in and figuring out what was wrong with it. It didn’t take long to fix, the price was good and I don’t feel like they made up anything just to turn a profit. They were friendly, outgoing and have made new customers for life. I highly recommend them.

Great service. Repair shop recommended by AAA as I had broken down on 395 in Washington on my way to Coeur d' Alene (scout camp). Car towed to garage on a Saturday, they were notified by AAA. Car trouble investigate on Monday, radiator and hoses need replacement. Repairs were completed on Tuesday and final testing (to ensure no head gasket problems due to overheating) on Wednesday. Repairs were good to go. Service was excellent an very pleasant experience in communicating to the shop. Would definitely recommend.

We are so thankful to have found Silverlake Automotive in Coeur d'Alene. My family and I were on our way from Portland, OR to our family cabin in Montana when our check engine light came on and the car started shaking. The first auto shop we tried couldn't even look at our car for a week. We drove into Silverlake Automotive and Fred came out to see what he could do. He assessed the problem and let us know that he could work us in and get us on our way in a couple of hours. He quickly ordered the part and fixed our car in about two hours. We went from expecting to be stranded to being happily back on vacation. It is customer service like this that is so appreciated and keeps people coming back! Thank you so much Fred!

I have used Silverlake Automotive for 3 years, and they are the best! I am 80 years old, so have been to a lot of shops, and none are as good as Fred Meyers and his employees. They really care and always explain what they did and why, and if something is starting to go bad, they tell you how long you can wait to have the work dine. Completely honest and straight forward.

I hate feeling sold when I visit an auto body shop. Nate at Silver Lake never did that once. He was great to work with and the work so far hasn't had an issue. He even gave me advice outside of the scope of work that directed me to a different store. That type of candid honesty will keep me a returning customer!!! Thanks!

The service is always prompt and friendly. If we forgot our discount coupon, another offer is used instead! :)
